Tat Hong was set up in Singapore in the '70s as a supplier of cranes and heavy equipment.
Over the years, we have grown and progressed to become the largest crawler crane company in the world, supplying cranes and heavy equipment to various industries.
In a June 2010 survey conducted by publishers “International Cranes”, we were ranked as the largest crawler crane fleet owner in the world.

In terms of aggregate tonne-metres, we were the top player in the Asia-Pacific region and ranked 8th worldwide. We are delighted to be recognised as the largest tower crane player in China, based on International Cranes´ IC50 Tower Index 2010.

Offshore & Marine
In recent times, we witnessed the emergence of the oil and gas sector as a key market in the region with increasing demand for offshore and marine services. Capitalising on this growth opportunity, we extended our presence in the offshore and marine services industry in the region through participation in several mega projects in Singapore, Malaysia and Indonesia.
Tower Cranes
Identifying lucrative business opportunities in the growing tower crane rental market in China, our visionary management team decided to venture into this industry in 2005, through a joint venture with our associated tower crane manufacturer company in China, Singapore-listed Yongmao Holdings Limited.

In early 2009, we decided to set up a new Tower Crane Rental division, in anticipation of the accelerated expansion of the tower crane rental market in line with an increase in the government´s infrastructure spending.
